I post this picture of a model in a Catwoman costume. Aside from my prurient response to the picture (which is considerable), what struck me about the pic when I came across it on Flickr was that this was just about one of the best pics of someone in a Catwoman outfit I have ever run across. I mean, SHE REALLY LOOKS LIKE CATWOMAN!
The whole cosplay/costume thing often goes awry. This is not just for men either, believe me I’ve been to enough cons and seen enough pics online of overweight, dirty looking clowns dressed up like a superhero to have had more than my fill of the whole thing. Ladies though don’t come off any better in this, I’ve seen enough bad Supergirl, Powergirl, Wonder Woman, Phoenix wannabees to last a lifetime too.
When someone does a really good job though, there’s something to be said for it. Although that is rather the exception than the rule.
